Triand creates web-based applications supporting K-20 education. Triand web applications support education administrators and teachers by instantly creating reports based upon student standardized tests. Additionally, Triand provides curriculum lesson planning, tracking, and alignment to state standards. The core of it all is the student transcript which Triand pioneered the online and connected version allowing reporting all the way up t the state level and in the future beyond.

Sherri Wyche Fleming was hired for a challenging position at Triand, designer and UI developer. After working with Triand for many months, Triand expanded the number of clients by more than 50% with higher client satisfaction. Sherri was responsible for the look and feel along with the implementation of the marketing site in addition to the UI of the web applications. She worked closely with Triand's clients to gather requirements and provide rapid prototypes for the clients to utilize and provide feedback.

The Challenge

The Triand applications were rewritten from scratch every year to update the code and allow for larger numbers of simultaneous users. Triand needed someone that could come in and assess the entire system of applications and provide step by step improvements to accessibility, usability, and functionality without slowing down new features and improvements.
